The event will focus on equipping your team with the skills, knowledge and overall sales approach to win high value deals, in less time and with greater predictability and accuracy. The HP ESS Sales Academy program has now been in place for 2 years and has delivered outstanding results for Partners with many experiencing a sharp improvement in competitive edge and increased margin. The emphasis this year will be on introducing or refreshing sales skills and knowledge that “remove the luck” out of selling and introduce proven, visible and repeatable skills that are the mark of every professional salesperson who wants to succeed in this fast changing and competitive sales environment. Specifically, the program will concentrate on:
- Pipeline Management” – That is, how to develop and manage the sales pipeline to maximize short- and long-term results.
- Significantly reducing the time and effort required to prepare accurate forecasts and monthly operational reports – with the help of the HP Partner Business Manager.
- The introduction of a systematic and repeatable process for managing complex sales opportunities – which substitutes “guesswork” with strategic deal analysis.
- Improving closure rates or win:loss ratios.
- Introducing or refreshing the skills need to move from “product and price centric selling” to a business value sales approach that positions the quantified value of HP ESS solutions.
