What's new? |
| On 15 March 2008, the HP Certified Professional Program simplified the Operating System and Networking prerequisites for the current Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS) and Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) for HP ProLiant ML/DL Servers [2007] and HP BladeSystem [2007] certifications. You can now choose from an extensive list of third-party credentials to satisfy the prerequisite requirements.. |

Why has this change been made? |
| Feedback provided from partners and HP Certified Professionals has prompted us to greatly simplify our program for both the candidate and HP by reducing the third-party Operating System requirement. We reviewed the existing Networking prerequisites and reduced the requirements in many cases to a single exam that covers the material necessary for properly supporting HP BladeSystem installation and start-up needs. |

Important note for those migrating from AIS or ASE HP ProLiant Servers [2005] |
| As an HP Certified Professional, you choose ''when'' to upgrade to a newer certification version. However, the option of easily migrating to the newest version rather than meeting new candidate requirements is limited until 1 August 2008. Should you not pass the migration exams communicated to you in an earlier e-mail by the 1 August deadline, you will have to pass the same criteria as those for people just starting out. |
