The Master Accredited Systems Engineer designation is designed to provide a certification of solutions planning, implementation and support skills for systems engineers and consultants with HP customers, Systems Integrators, Reseller and Service authorized partners, and HP Presales and Professional Services organizations. The content is focused around the design and integration of solutions based upon a set of customer business needs. Typically tracks are focused at the application or enterprise level.

The competencies and knowledge provided in the courseware and tested in the exams include: System, network and application architectures, Application integration with OS-platform-storage-network systems, application-level capacity planning, implementation and troubleshooting, value added software and hardware support, tuning and optimization, and advanced management.
