Website Updates:
"For Certified Professionals"

The "For Certified Professionals" section of the website is password protected and requires your password and username. The information in this section is for individuals who are current Compaq Accredited Professionals. Recently we added a new section called "Exclusive Offers and Discounts". From time to time partners and various internal groups may offer exclusive opportunities for Compaq Accredited Professionals. Take a minute to check out what's available:

  • Passwords
In December 2001 all Compaq Accredited Professionals received a letter about changes to our website security. All current Compaq Accredited Professionals were asked to continue using the Student ID provided via the letter OR setup a new username. Compaq Accredited Professionals were required to reset the password provided. Have you reset and forgotten your password? If so, click on "forgot password" under Profile and it will be sent to the email address you provided in your profile. For help, contact northamericacap@compaq.com.
  • Online Options
With our recent website updates, Compaq Accredited Professionals now have the capability of doing the following:
    • Reset and change your password
    • Review or change your profile (new employer, address change, e-mail, etc.)
    • Complete an application for an additional designation
    • Review the status of recently submitted applications
    • Review your certification history
  • Is your certification history not there?
Did you enter your student ID as it appeared on the December 2001 letter that was mailed to you? You must enter your entire student ID (as listed on the letter, including preceding zeroes) in order to access the certification history information.

Event Cancellations:
Compaq has made the difficult decision to cancel the Master ASE Technology Exchange originally scheduled for April in Colorado Springs. We feel we would be unable to give adequate details on product roadmaps in that timeframe. Additionally, the economic climate makes it prohibitive for us to host a large event. We also realize travel budgets are tight for everyone at this time. We know this comes as a great disappoint to you, but be assured we view this as a short-term interruption and remain fully committed to both the Master ASE Program as well as to hosting other Technology Exchanges such as this one in the future. In the meantime, we will continue to evaluate alternative communication forums and we will keep you informed as plans develop.
