Opt-out policy

You now have the option to no longer receive these monthly newsletters as well as other HP Certified Professional communications. If you would not like to receive these communications, you can "opt out," by following the steps below:

  1. Log into your HP Certified Professional Profile. If you need help logging in, please visit our Login Assistance page on the Participation Guide at http://www.hp.com/certification/americas/online_guide/access.html.
  2. Once logged in, select the Change My Profile (New Employer, Address Changes, Email, Etc.) link.
  3. The different communications you can choose from is listed below your email address field. Just uncheck the boxes of the items which you don't want to receive from HP.

All HP Certified Professionals will receive Program Update information as well as Continuing Certification Requirements (CCRs) communications. There is no "opt out" option for Program Updates and CCR communications.

Make your plans to attend HP Technology Forum 2005…your annual technical training event
HP Technology Forum 2005 will be held September 12 - 15, 2005, in New Orleans, Louisiana (USA). This is your annual training event. The name is new, but the hard-hitting technical content that you've come to expect is all there.

Continuing certification requirement for ProLiant Server includes new APS On-line Exam
The HP Certified Professional Program announces a Continuing Certification Requirement (CCR) for APS - ProLiant Server certification. Service technicians who have not tested prior to November 15, 2003, must complete the new on-line exam prior to January 2, 2006.

Migration Reminders
For months we have been telling you about migration requirements that resulted from the merger of the Compaq and HP certification programs. These migration requirements have been cancelled. You do not need to do anything to preserve your certification status.

Continuing Certification Requirements (CCRs)
A number of credentials have CCRs that are due to be completed soon.

Migration extension granted to Master ASEs

PLEASE READ. New Update: As of April 18, 2005, the HP Certified Professional program will no longer be requiring the migration CCRs mentioned below for Master ASEs. There is no further action required of those holding these credential titles at this time.

  • Compaq Accredited Professional Master ASE - Master Enterprise Storage
  • Compaq Accredited Professional Master ASE - SAN Architect (pre-November 15 2002)
