The Mercury certifications are scheduled to be fully integrated into the HP Certified Professional Program on November 1, 2007. In preparation, here is what you need to know…

If you hold “older” legacy Mercury credential(s):
HP Software has ceased offering legacy Mercury certification exams.
  • Your older credential(s) will not qualify to transition to the new HP Software credential(s)
  • Your older credential(s) will no longer be considered valid after November 1st
  • You will have to wait until November 1st to take the required exams via the HP Certified Professional Program

If you hold “current” legacy Mercury credential(s):
Your credential(s) will transition into HP Software credential(s) and you will receive your HP Student ID and updated credential certificate from the HP Certified Professional Program. Visit the “HP Software Credential Map” section of the Worldwide Certification Update document to see:
  • How your particular credential will map to the new HP Software credential
  • The new HP Software credentials and associated exams

If you hold the “ASC - Openview Solutions” credential:
This credential will retire on Nov. 1st, 2007. You can now upgrade to the new ASC - HP Software Operations Solutions [2007] credential. For upgrade information, access the Upgrade Path page for ASC - Openview Solutions credential.
Any information about the Mercury portion of HP Software or the pre-merger Mercury program, including related certifications you hold, or those you would like to acquire, can be found by visiting: http://www.merc-training.com/main/US/certification/?sitepick=US. Note: This information will NOT be available on any HP Certified Professional Program websites.
